Mega-Dogs has designed a NADAC-approved displaceable tire and is offering them for sale.

The tires are made of ABS and PVC, and as such are lightweight and weather-proof.  Ours stays outside 24 / 7 in the wet and wild Pacific Northwest.  There is no metal to rust, no duct tape to fade and fray, and it is easy to set and transport.

Available only in black and white.

The picture shown above is of the prototype.  The final design has a top bar for added stability (and to comply with the revised NADAC specs) and nice vinyl numbers to label the jump heights which range from 4" to 24".

We also received approval from NADAC for another design change that we believe is a big improvement in safety and usability.  The upper portion will now be suspended from the top rail instead of using the cross bar.  This will prevent the upper portion from falling on top of a dog if knocked, and means that a light brush by a giant breed or a tap with a tail will not garner a fault.  The sketch below shows the final design (minus the legs and additional jump cups):

BUILD YOUR OWN TIRE KITS

You can purchase complete kits for building your own tire jump.  The kit includes all the materials (pre-drilled and pre-cut to precise lengths), detailed instructions, vinyl numbers for labeling jump heights, and even the glue.  No special skills are needed, and the only tools required are a screwdriver, pliers, and rubber mallet.

The complete kit sells for $110 plus shipping.  Shipping costs average $30 depending on location.
